im thinking about buying fc4 because i enjoyed fc3 very well. is the normal story without any dlcs good enough or are the dlcs worth it to get played? how long did u played the game until it got boring?

Far cry 5 is a lot of fun but gets dull after a bit. It’s definitely worth your time if your a casual gamer, but can be repetitive for a hardcore gamer. Don’t go with dying light right now. It’s only the base game editions which just comes with the base game. You probably want the enhanced edition.

Includes 2 items: Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 4 Season Pass. Gold Edition content: The Syringe – The day-one Season Pass exclusive mission will have you preventing Pagan Min from retrieving a rare recipe and using it against the rebellion. Take on The Syringe in either single-player or co-op.
Don't play Far Cry 6. Maybe try shaking things up a bit if you want something new and are tired with repetitiveness. These games might be something completely different if you've only played the type of games you've mentioned in the list, but all of these are absolutely worth playing if they're your speed.
